Bangkok Day 8 & 9

International buffet-style breakfast at the hotel. For the next one and a half-day, we would be staying in Bangkok doing some shopping and city walkabout.

Taking public transport is still one of the best options since traffic congestion is always a problem in Bangkok.

As Christmas is around the corner, decorations were up on both exterior and interiors of the mall. Full of festive season mood as you shop. The night lighting was beautiful.

Chang Chui Plane Night Market, located further away from the city center, is not worth a visit. Maybe due to the distance, most of the shops were closed, and not much food stall to choose from either. The cost to dine in the renovated plane was quite high, but one still able to take photos with the airplane from the outside without any cents.

At the King Power DFS, there was a 90th Mickey Anniversary Disney Pop-up event. Since we were in the area, we walked over to have a glance.

On the last morning, we pre-booked an appointment at MBK Lets Relax Spa for a massage as the cost was way cheaper compared to our home country.

We departed an hour earlier for the airport in case of congestion. Upon checked-in, we then knew that there was a delay in the flight for at least three to four hours. It was further delay later in the night. The holiday ends in such a unique way.
