Khao Kho > Phu Thap Boek
A half-hour journey to Wat Prathat Phasornkaew, a temple built with millions of mosaic tiles, is worth a visit. We climbed to the top of the pagoda for a stunning view. Do not forget to walk opposite for the iconic white five Buddha statue.
Pino Latte Cafe, a restaurant with a panoramic view of the mountains, is a must to chill out. It was almost full at the point of the visit. We managed to get a table in the outdoor section. Although the sunshine bright above, the cold wind still blew through our skin. The delicious dishes warm our hearts.

The next stop for the day is The Blue Sky Resort to enjoy the mountainous scenery with photo-taking opportunity.
We continue our journey to the Phu Thap Boek mountain, 1768m above the sea level. Winding up the zig-zag road through the mountainous road does require an efficient vehicle. For the safety of everyone, we recommend doing this part of the journey during the day unless the driver knows the geography well.
Another stunning view of Thailand mountainous. The air is fresh. Communication can be a problem here since many locals do not speak English. The hand sign always plays a part during travel.
We had a simple dinner at the local restaurant before the late-night stargazing.
Overnight at one of the local Inn

The accommodation for the night is book through booking.com. The room is filled with a strong scent when we first entered. The bed is not as comfy since sense the inner coil of the mattress. We never expect the room to be so cold throughout the night. We wear all our jackets to bed. A sleepless night though.
