Switzerland

Follow solely on the “Grand Train Tour of Switzerland” route.

We spent a day exploring Zurich city. Feel the power of water at Rheinfall, the largest waterfall in Switzerland and also Europe. Be astonished by the Abbey Library of Saint Gallen as its too beautiful to be described. We walked around the old town of Saint Gallen for the unique and colorful oriels window. Ascend to Mount Pilatus for the breathtaking view. Have fun sliding down the longest toboggan ride. Take the cog railway to Rochers-de-Naye for the stunning panoramic view. We never get to see the Matterhorn but still enjoyed ourselves at the top of Gornergrat. From Zermatt, hop onto the Glacier Express for a picturesque ride to Saint Moritz. Continue the journey onto the Bernina Express train for another spectacular landscapes ride. Next, cruise in a paddle steamer along Lake Lucerne before making a stop at Lucerne where we explore the old city wall and walk across the old wooden bridge. In Bern, we get to witness the operation of the historic clock before heading back home.
