Day 7 – Tataki Waterfall and Yanbaru
With a newly expanded carpark and shower facilities, the Tataki waterfall hike is becoming more popular.

It is our first time trying out such an adventurous hike. The course mainly walks in the shallow water. The round trip trail took about 2 hours to complete.

Again we had soba for lunch at the restaurant located at the junction to the highway.

It was drizzling when we reached Daiseki Rinzan Mountain, so we waited for the rain to stop.
Walk the panoramic trail and be amazed by the natural formations of the rock. The banyan tree at Yanbaru Forest Trail is not to be miss.

Depart Daiseki and head to the nearby Kayauchi Banta lookout point where the breathtaking view of the East China Sea with the coastline await.

We drove to the northernmost point of Okinawa, Cape Hedo, for another panoramic view of the endless sea scenery.

We will be doing our first ever glamping at Nanma Mui Nature Resort. It is summer, not a wise choice for glamping and the cicada at the surrounding make things worse. Overall, it is a great experience.

We had our dinner at Uminchu Cuisine Kaihoumaru. The choices available are limited as many are sold-out for the day.

Day 8 : Kouri island & Senaga
The 2km long Kouri bridge connects the mainland to Kouri Island.
Visit the Kouri Ocean Tower for the breathtaking scenery at the observation deck.

Enjoy our lunch at the nearby local stall, Shirasa, with ocean view.

Continue our journey towards the south and overnight at Ryukyu Onsen Senagajima Hotel. The hotel room is ensuite with onsen.

The multi-level shops and restaurants at the terrace are unique to the hotel. Also, you can easily spot an airplane on the runway as the airport is just nearby.

We had dinner at Itoman Gyomin Shokudo, situated near the fishing port. There is no fixed menu as it mainly depends on the fresh stock every day.

Day 9 : Okinawa World
Visit the Okinawa World after our breakfast at the hotel. It is the largest theme park in Okinawa that you can experience nature, history, and culture.
Gyokusen Cave spans 5km and is the largest limestone cave in Japan. The pathway is well constructed and lit.

Another highlight is the “Super Eisa” traditional dance. The dancers will get you excited and involved in their impressive performance.
Give a try on the traditional weaving workshop.

Visitors can watch at close distant on the making of glass using the glass-blowing method.

Our next stop is Nakamoto Tempura store at Oujima Island. Upon entering the island, we can spot the queue at the storefront. The freshly fried tempura is crispy and not too oily.

Continue driving to Nirai Kanai Bridge and Cape Chinen Park. Our last chance for the amazing ocean view. Breathe hard and glaze at the ocean.

Make our trip back to Naha city and return the rental car. We then have our dinner at Yakiniku Hana.
Overnight at Naha ANA Crowne Plaza.
Our flight back to Singapore is at 9 am the following day.
