About two decades ago, the tragic war took place in this country. The people fought against each other. Bullet holes in walls, starburst pattern pavement, and memorials are scars that still can be seen in the city today.
You will not miss the iconic old bridge of Mostar in Herzegovina region where brave skilled young men jumped 75 feet down from the bridge into the Neretva river. The tunnel of hope located on the outskirts of Sarajevo brings you back to the painful history. The Muslim Bosniaks, Eastern Orthodox Serbs, and Catholic Croats are living together and working hard to bring the country back on track.
