SG – Munich Airport – Zagreb

Arrived at Munich airport at around 6 am and thus finding a comfortable place to nap is the first thing that came to our mind. At terminal 2, there are a few Napcabs (sleeping pods) available. For 2 hours of usage, it cost about 30 euros. With air-conditional provided, completely private and the best of all is that you can lie down and sleep.

Breakfast at the Boconero Cafe before continues our journey toward Zagreb.

We landed at Zagreb Franjo Tudman airport at about 1 pm. Collect the rental car from Oryx at the airport and start our adventure in Croatia.

Lenuci Horseshoe, also known as Green Horseshoe, is a U-shaped series of parks located just outside the city. A leisure stroll from the hostel to the park makes us relaxed from our long haul flight.

Wandered through the grand railway station, Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor, which is the former station on the Orient Express.

Overnight at Hostel Shappy

Hostel Shappy is located right at the heart of Zagreb city. For those who drive, the carpark is about 10 minutes’ walk from the hostel. We stayed at the Deluxe Double room located on the ground floor. From the courtyard, people can see part of the room. You can request for high floor room if you want more privacy. The staff are friendly and speak fluent English.
