Zagreb > Vodnjan > Pula > Rovinj
We started our three hours journey towards Istria in the early morning. Breakfast at the rest station along the highway.

Joined the guided tour “Taste of Istria” with Chiavalon Olive Oil, with an estate of about 7500 olive trees in Vodnjan. The tour covered the making process, taught you how to taste and differentiate olive oil. Do you know pure olive oil smell green?

Pula is known for its ancient Roman buildings. Pula Arena is the sixth largest amphitheater in the world. With its four side towers and all three Roman architectural orders preserved, it is one of the well-preserved ancient amphitheaters. Step inside and explore the grand interior and imagined the bloody scene history.
We walked into the town and further explored the history.

At the Forum, it stands the Town Hall and the Temple of Augustus. Do circled both buildings for its ancient traces.

Tucked in a small yard, is the hidden Roman Floor Mosaic.

Be amazed by the craving on the magnificent triumphal arch, Arch of Sergius.

We had a seafood dinner at Restaurant Orca before ending the day at Rovinj. The mixture of cold appetizers and the fish soup was slightly saltier. It was our first time trying out the frogfish, which had a mix of frog and fish texture.
Overnight at Hotel Delfin

Hotel Delfin is situated just steps away from the waterfront and within walking distance to the romantic Rovinj old town. The room is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the delightful breakfast with the morning breezes.
