Rovinj
Under the morning coldness, stroll the scenic waterfront before having our breakfast at the hotel.

We went to the local market located at the other end of the street. You can find local produce such as figs and truffles here.

I paid 7 HRK for using the toilet near to the market. It is pretty clean and received a postcard upon exit.

Notice the winged lion of Saint Mark on top of Balbi Arch, the old town entrance gate. It also reminds us that Rovinj was under the Venetian territory for centuries.

Stepped into the Church of Saint Euphemia and climbed its wooden staircase of the Bell Tower. Be rewarded by the stunning panoramic view of the sea and inland of Rovinj.

Dined with a remarkable sea view at the most scenic restaurants, La Puntuleina.

Toured the colorful Grisia street, lined with many artworks by the local artists. The cobbled pavement was unique to the place. Stepped into the picturesque courtyard, explored the many rustic alleys were the best way to find the charm of the old town.

For a lazy afternoon, grab a drink at Mediterraneo Cocktail Bar. If you are adventurous enough, drop into the cooling sea.

In the evening, we sailed the sunset cruise with dolphins watching. The sailors onboard offer free home-made whiskey (40% alcohol level) to all. Soon everyone gets excited by the dolphins and even more when it jumped. The beautiful sunset makes our day more enjoyable.

End the cruise with the stunning night view of Rovinj.

We had a savory and affordable dinner at Maestral, a popular restaurant among the locals.
