With the freshly baked bread in hand, we walked to the waterfront for the Sea Organ. We sat by the step at the Sea Organ to enjoy the breakfast together with the sea breezes and beautiful tune.
Sibenik, a city with stone buildings and cobbled streets, is the only coastal city built by Croats.
Cathedral of St. James, constructed using only stones, is filled with stunning artworks with blends of Gothic and Renaissance style. It is a World Heritage building since 2000.




We wandered around the narrow streets of the historic city.


Explore into the small Garden of St. Lawrence Monastery for its green and also a great place to rest our tiring feet. We even had a relaxing lunch at the cafe in the garden.

Fortress of St. Michael is located further uphill. Hike to the top for the panoramic views of Sibenik and the Adriatic Sea. The mighty long walled fortress was once the protector of the town.


Continue the road trip to Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The entire town is intact since and is a small town located on an island. One of the masterpieces is the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Adventure into the narrow alleys to find its charm.



We had pizza at Mala Kavana before meeting the guesthouse owner. We were quite surprised by the many high rise buildings in the area.

FM Apartment is a guesthouse located 10 minutes drive from the Split old town. The studio apartment has a balcony overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The room is clean and homely. The pancake place recommended by the owner is a must.
