Tanglin Halt Market is one of the oldest markets in the Queenstown area. It was first built more than 50 years ago and comprises just 28 stalls. Morning crowds fill the tables, so most are sold out by mid-day.

Tanglin Halt Original Peanut Pancakes are crispy on the outside and yet chewy inside. The dough is create using wheatgrass flour and own cultivated natural yeast. Thus, this traditional pancake is more chewy compare to others. The old couple even prepared the filing themselves. Wake up early to get a taste of this fresh from the wok and lovely made pancake.

Delicious Duck Noodle started the braised duck noodles along the North Bridge Road and relocated to Tanglin Halt in 1969. The old couple started preparing the ingredient at around 2 am and simmering the duck for three hours. The freshly made duck noodle is lightly and yet flavorful.

Wei Yi Laksa and Prawn Noodle is another popular stall with a never-ending queue at the market. A delicious bowl of laksa lies on the mild yet flavorful laksa gravy made out of shrimp and coconut milk. Wei Yi Laksa is definitely worth the dollars.
