Day 7 : Hobart

~ MONA ~ City Center ~

Situated in the 150-year-old flour mill building, Stock Market Restaurant is another popular cafe to start the day.

Ride a ferry from Brooke Street Pier to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). Do you worried about getting bored at the museum? Fear not. MONA is a fun and unusual place, with art displays that suit all age groups. This largest private museum is one of the top attractions in Hobart.

Please note : MONA is only open from Friday to Monday. Ticket at AUD$35/pp. Ferry tickets $25/pp return.

Lunch under the sunny blue sky is the best.

Wander around the city center like a local.

Back to the Brooke Street Pier for the Hobart Twilight Market. There were quite a few food vans and stalls. You can have dinner at the table and enjoy the music.

Please note the market is only open on certain Friday evenings.

Cloudy sunset view from Mount Wellington

Drove to Mount Wellington again, only to realize the summit was closed early due to the bad weather.
