Day 10 : Rathmore & New Norfolk

~ Rathmore Sheep Farm ~ New Norfolk ~

Rathmore House

We are in love with the greenery fields and the calmness of the picturesque landscape.

Hercules, the bullock, loved to have bread as its breakfast snack. An unforgetful hands-on feeding experience. Hercules is hand raised in Rathmore since young.

Roam around the farm further and search for the home-ground platypus.

New Norfolk is a town on River Derwent with a rich history, wonderful antique shops, and beautiful rural scenery. The Quilted Teapot is a fantastic place for lunch. Refurbished from the oldest church, this cozy cafe is also a great place to shop for patchwork artwork.

Walk into the antique shop to find some awesome stuff. Wander around Arthur Square for its green and continue exploring the historic town for its charm.

Lunch at Quilted Teapot

Scenic drive along the Derwent River while making our journey back to Rathmore. Spot a wild kookaburra by the side of the road while looking for the nearby aurora viewing location.

We had another delicious and yummy dinner by the chef. After dinner, we end our day with some hand toasted marshmallows.
