Day 17 : Stanley > Beauty Point

Stanley > Tasmanian Arboretum > Sheffield > Beauty Point

Sunrise view from Stanley Seaview Inn

What a beautiful morning sky at Stanley. We missed the opportunity to witness the warmest hues of sunrise by the beach.

Continue on our road trip toward the northeast of Tasmania.

Tasmanian Arboretum is a great place to enjoy nature and the surrounding greenery. Look out for the platypus in the lakes, not to miss the adorable swans. A relaxing walk around the botanical garden and love every corner of the landscape.

Sheffield, a small town located on the northwest coast, is famous for its colorful murals and high-quality butterfat products. From the information center to the hidden alley, artworks are found almost at every corner. This quiet town gallery is worth the stop.

Next, we were going to visit two cafes on the Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail.

Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm Cafe uses the freshest local ingredients to produce seasonal dishes. After dessert, we took a stroll along the lakeside.

Ashgrove Cheese, an award-winning Tasmanian paddock-to-plate diary, is a must for cheese lovers. As you step into the shop, you will be attracted to the cheese on display behind the glass window.

Continue towards Beauty Point and plan to explore the surrounding the next day.

Overnight at Beauty Point Cottages, Bay Cottage

We stayed at Bay Cottages of the Beauty Point Cottages. The room has the best sunrise view. The beautiful garden of the homestead brings your stay to another level. A stroll by the lake is easily accessible.
