Day 21 : Bicheno > Little Swanport

Bicheno > Wineglass Bay Lookout > Swansea > Little Swanport

After breakfast, we continue our holiday towards the next destination.

Wineglass Bay Lookout is one of Tasmania’s Great Short Walks. A steep 1.3km walk uphill on a well-constructed path through coastal woodland and granite boulders. On the lookout platform, the view is rewarding.

We started the climb with good weather. But as we approached the peak, it turned cloudy. Very soon, it started raining. Double our steps while descending, yet we were both wet.

Due to bad weather, we had to skip the lighthouse and the beaches.

At the Freycinet Marine Farm, we sat near a fireplace to warm and dry ourselves. This restaurant serves mouth-watering delicious oysters. We had a dozen of oysters with their famous mussels.

After a long lunch, we continue our journey to Swansea, a charming historic town. A scenic walk on the Loontitetermairrelehoiner Track.

Are you able to pronounce the name of the track?? LOL

Kate’s Berry Farm cafe offers fresh and flavorful desserts. A very relaxing place for afternoon tea.

Continue on the road to Little Swanport for the accommodation.

The road toward Wind Song B&B is on an unsealed track. The house is surrounded by untouched forest and greenery land. Encounter the countless pademelons and wallabies at dusk. In the dark, wild possums are loitering around for some food.
