Zabljak > Cetinje > Kotor
It was another sunny day. I love the fresh air, the peaceful surrounding as well as the panoramic scenery.

The drive to Kotor, a beautiful coastal town, would take about five hours.
Drove between the clouds or the morning mist was a unique experience. Hardly see anything except the dew whiteness and some lights from the other direction cars.
Pavlova Strana’s viewpoint is one of the iconic landscapes in Lake Skadar. The nature scenes at Montenegro inland is mind-blowing.

Rijeka Crnojevica town is a small town with not much attraction except for boat cruising to the National Park. Thus, we only make a quick stop and continue looking for a lunch venue.
The century-old National Restaurant Belveder is the best find for this trip. We took the outdoor seats, surrounded by pine trees and the magnificent view over Lake Skadar and Cetinje River. Their specialty grilled lamb is soft and tasty. Indeed dining with a view place.

Another gorgeous view is at the Vidikovac viewpoint, Mount Lovcen. Drove to the top and parked by the roadside before taking the 461 steps to the summit. The climb may be tiring but be rewarded by the 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains landscapes. We also visited the mausoleum of King Petar Petrović Njegos, located at the summit.

Winding down the 25 hairpin turns to Kotor was an unforgettable experience. The narrow road is enough for one direction vehicles, but in fact, it is both directions traffic. Excursion buses may sometimes jammed the road. We indeed experience the road clog by a bus and how the many vehicles give way for it.

Kotor, with the seafront and back against a cliff, is surrounded by town walls. We had a glance at the old town after putting our luggage at the accommodation.
Just before the sunset, we went to the opposite side of the seafront and watched the beautiful night scene of the Kotor fortress.

Konoba Scala Santa is an authentic and the oldest restaurant in Kotor. At the time of the visit, the place was full. We waited for a while before getting a table for our dinner. We loved the prawn rolls and the tasty red seafood rice.

Overnight at Palazzo Drusko
Palazzo Drusko, located in the Kotor old town, is a 600 years old stone building. The room is spacious and cozy, so it the bathroom. The antique furniture makes the room looks even more charming.
